Jonathan joins the municipality straight from the Department of County Administration and Decentralized Units Machakos County, where he worked as a Sub County Administrator. He has over 16 years wealth of experience from the public and private sectors. Mr. Makau holds a Bachelor of Education Degree from the International Leadership University. He is currently finalizing on his Masters of Art in Public Administration and Management degree from Mount Kenya University. He also holds a Diploma in Leadership from Nairobi International School of Theology. He is an accomplished manager, having supervised and coordinated officers in different departments within Machakos and Kangundo Sub Counties for a period of years. Makau is a professional goal setter capable of setting high standards of performance in his area of engagement. He is great visionary leader able to work with no or minimal supervision.
