The second edition of the Machakos Trade Expo has officially kicked off at the Machakos Golf Club grounds, bringing together over 300 exhibitors from diverse sectors. The Expo provides a vibrant platform for businesses to showcase their products and services, strengthen market linkages, and expand their professional and commercial networks.
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) continue to play a critical role in the economic growth of Machakos County, positioning the region among the top contributors to Kenya’s national GDP. This highlights the importance of SMEs in driving entrepreneurship, innovation, job creation, and wealth creation across the county and beyond.
Under the leadership of H.E. Governor Wavinya Ndeti, the County Government of Machakos remains committed to supporting SMEs through value chain development, business training programmes, and enhanced access to both national and international markets.
