The CECM for Lands, Housing, Urban Development and Roads, Hon. Nathaniel Nganga, presided over the official closing ceremony of the week-long performance assessment exercise, where he received the Second Annual Performance Assessment Report from Alpex Consulting Africa Ltd.
The assessment marked a significant milestone for Mavoko Municipality, which delivered an outstanding performance in the implementation of the Urban Development Grant (UDG), demonstrating excellence in urban governance, accountability, and service delivery.
The municipality’s strong showing reflects sustained efforts to strengthen institutional systems, enhance operational efficiency, and improve urban management practices in line with the objectives of the Kenya Urban Support Programme (KUSP II).
Present during the ceremony were Mavoko Municipal Manager Josyline Nzeki, Municipal Board Chairman Lali Kathuli, and technical officers whose dedication, professionalism, and teamwork contributed to the municipality’s success.
The County Government commended the entire Mavoko Municipality team for their commitment to excellence and reaffirmed its support for initiatives that strengthen sustainable urban development and improve service delivery for residents.
