The Division of Community Health under the Ministry of Health convened the Joint National and County Community Health Performance Review Meeting at Kyaka Hotel in Machakos.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders from both national and county governments to review progress in the implementation of community health services, share updates, identify emerging challenges, and develop coordinated joint action plans for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2026.
The Principal Secretary for Public Health and Professional Standards, Ms. Mary Muthoni, CBS, graced the occasion and underscored the importance of the Community Health Accountability Framework in strengthening oversight, improving performance tracking, and ensuring quality service delivery at the community level.
The forum provided an important platform for enhancing collaboration between the two levels of government and development partners, aimed at improving the delivery of community health services and strengthening primary healthcare systems across the country.
