Mavoko Municipality, under the leadership of Municipal Manager Madam Josyline Nzeki, has officially submitted key documentation in preparation for the Second Annual Performance Assessment (KUSP II) under the Kenya Urban Support Programme.
The submission was carried out by a team of technical officers working closely with the Municipal Manager, as part of the ongoing evaluation process being conducted by Alpex Consulting Africa Ltd. The assessment focuses on reviewing the municipality’s performance in the implementation of the Urban Development Grant (UDG) and adherence to required urban governance standards.
The exercise forms an important part of strengthening accountability, transparency, and efficiency in municipal operations. It also plays a key role in ensuring continued access to funding that supports infrastructure development and improved service delivery within Mavoko Municipality.
The County Government of Machakos reaffirmed its commitment to effective urban governance and sustained investment in systems that enhance service delivery and promote sustainable urban development for the benefit of residents.
