The Machakos Youth Service Centre is set to admit its first cohort of learners this Wednesday 8th January 2025, marking a major step towards empowering the county’s youth through vocational training. The initiative aims to break the cycles of poverty and unemployment by offering courses that equip young people with practical skills for sustainable livelihoods.
Key courses include character development, ICT skills, agribusiness, and technical trades like wiring and plumbing. The Centre, built in collaboration with the National Youth Service (NYS) and Machakos County Government, is designed to provide both educational and personal growth opportunities for youth in Machakos.
This program is a cornerstone of our mission to empower youth, help them unlock their potential, and create a pathway to self-sufficiency and success. Join us in shaping the future of Machakos—one young person at a time.
