The newly inaugurated bodies include:
- The Boards of the Three Municipalities – Mavoko, Machakos, and Tala/Kangundo
- The Machakos County Rural and Urban Affordable Housing Committee
- The Board of Directors of the Machakos County Water and Sanitation Company PLC
These institutions play a crucial role in shaping the future of governance and development in Machakos. The Municipal Boards will drive urban planning, infrastructure growth, and improved service delivery within their respective towns.
