We hosted this year’s World Hypertension Day at the Kenyatta Stadium which was led by the health County Executive Committee Member, Dr. Daniel Yumbya.
The government is still concerned with the shooting hypertension rates which keep affecting more citizens despite the progressive efforts that have been undertaken to combat the disease.
We have ensured a steady supply of hypertension drugs in all levels of healthcare systems, we also encouraged the residents to take regular and accurate tests for hypertension across all our public health facilities.
Special appreciation to the Ministry of Health (MoH) for choosing Machakos County as the host of this year’s remembrance of the World’s Hypertension Day.
We also appreciate our Community Health Promoters (CHPs) for their incredible devotion in testing and referring patients to our respective healthcare institutions.
