H.E. Governor Wavinya Ndeti presided over two key ceremonies that underscore her administration’s commitment to improved service delivery and effective governance. At the White House, she witnessed the swearing-in of Mrs. Anastasia Wayua Victor as the new County Executive Committee Member (CEC-M) for Water. Mrs. Wayua brings a wealth of experience to the role and is expected to lead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing water access and sustainability across Machakos County.
In a subsequent ceremony, the Governor inaugurated the newly constituted Management Board for Machakos Level 5 Hospital. The board will be chaired by Bishop Charles Kababu. The board’s primary responsibility will be to provide oversight and strategic direction to the county’s largest referral hospital, with the aim of improving health outcomes and service efficiency for residents.
Governor Wavinya expressed confidence in the newly appointed leaders, emphasizing that their expertise and commitment will play a critical role in advancing the county’s development agenda. “With capable leaders in place, we are better positioned to meet the needs of our people,” she stated. “We count on their support in delivering quality services in line with our vision for a healthier, well-served, and empowered Machakos.”
