In line with Section 30(2)(k) of the County Governments Act, which mandates every County Governor to provide an annual report on the state of the county, H.E. Governor Wavinya Ndeti today presented the State of the County Address at the Machakos County Assembly.
The address highlighted transformative milestones achieved since the administration took office, showcasing progress across all departments of the County Government. Governor Ndeti emphasized the administration’s commitment to accountable leadership, efficient service delivery, and inclusive development across all 40 wards.
Under the guiding vision of “Chakula Mezani, Pesa Mfukoni,” the county government continues to focus on strengthening food security, expanding economic opportunities, and advancing social development—ensuring that every resident of Machakos County benefits from sustainable growth and progress.
The address reaffirmed the county’s trajectory toward a more prosperous, equitable, and well-governed Machakos, driven by strategic planning, citizen engagement, and a results-oriented approach.
