The County Government of Machakos has received a major boost in its efforts to strengthen digitized healthcare services following the delivery of ICT equipment from the Centre for International Health Education and Biosecurity (CIHEB).
Speaking this morning from her office, Governor H.E. Wavinya Ndeti received the equipment, which includes 188 desktop computers, 19 laptops, and 328 tablets. The devices are set to significantly enhance the county’s health information systems by placing modern technology directly in the hands of healthcare workers across facilities.
The new equipment will improve efficiency in service delivery, support accurate health data management, and strengthen the county’s transition towards fully digitized healthcare systems—key pillars in improving patient care and accountability within the health sector.
Governor Ndeti expressed her appreciation to CIHEB for the continued partnership, noting that strong collaborations are essential in transforming healthcare outcomes for residents.
She reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to working with development partners to strengthen health systems, improve service delivery, and ensure that the people of Machakos access quality, timely, and efficient healthcare services.
