- Installation, repair, and maintenance of market floodlights and streetlights.
- Rural electrification in the counties to promote access to electricity.
- Installation and repair of generators in county facilities.
- Preparation of Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for electrical and renewable energy projects in the county.
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of various electrical systems in all county facilities.
- Implementation of the County Energy Policy and the National Energy Act.
- Promotion, awareness, and implementation of renewable energy solutions, green energy initiatives, and clean cooking technologies.
- Formulation and implementation of energy policies, laws, regulations, county energy plans, and frameworks.
- Raising funds for projects related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, and conservation.
- Collaboration with stakeholders in service delivery.
