The National Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (NAVCDP) is implementing the e-voucher subsidy-based vaccination campaign against Foot and Mouth Disease.
The Programme will entail identification, digital registration through muzzle technology and send to KIAMIS (National Famers Digital register). Several Farmer Cooperative Societies (FCS) have been shortlisted to assist in this process.
This, therefore, is an invitation for applications from qualified animal service providers (Licensed Veterinarians and Veterinary Para-professionals) to enhance animal health, productivity and market access for our farmers.
The selected qualified individuals will support our farmers to identify, digitally register and vaccinate animals through e-voucher subsidy platform against Foot
and Mouth Disease. The registered animals will later be eligible for e-Voucher subsidy services and linked to the animal health service providers (AHSPs).
This programme will offer employment opportunities to Veterinary Surgeons (VS) and Veterinary Paraprofessionals (VPPs) by attaching them to the Farmer
producer organizations / Cooperatives. The e-voucher system will ensure efficient service delivery, transparent and accountable transactions. The
Veterinary surgeons will be based at FPO while the Veterinary paraprofessionals will be at the zonal level.
