The Machakos Disaster Risk Management technical team formulating the Machakos County Disaster Risk Management Plan convened to present and hand over the document to the Machakos Emergency Committee.
The Disaster Management Plan is prepared as stipulated under regulation 10 of the Public Finance Management (Machakos County Emergency Fund) Regulations 2021.
This Disaster Risk Management Plan will enhance preparedness and coordination efforts for disaster prevention, mitigation, response, and recovery in Machakos county.
The Machakos Emergency Committee has now reviewed the Disaster Management Plan, and is now ready to present the document to the CEC Member Finance, who will now follow the due procedures to effect the plan.
