PUBLIC PARTICIPATION ON MACHAKOS COUNTY SOCIAL PROTECTION POLICY AND GENDER EQUALITY AND EMPOWERMENT BILL

Pursuant to the provisions of articles 10(2a), 174(c) and 232(1d) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010; sections 6(6),

87, 104(4), 106(4) and 115(1) of the County Government Act, 2012; the County Government of Machakos through

the Department of Youth, Sports, Gender and Social Welfare has organized for Public Consultative Forums on

Machakos County Social Protection Policy and Gender Equality and Empowerment Bill. The Public, Civil Society

Organizations, Faith Based Organizations, Private Sector Practitioners and all other interested parties are therefore

invited to give views that will inform the preparation of the Social Protection Policy and Gender Equality and

Empowerment Bill on the dates, time and venues as per the attached schedule.
