I have this morning held a meeting with the members of the Commission on Administrative Justice (Office of Ombudsman) led by their Chairperson, Madam Florence Kajuju, when they paid me a courtesy call at my Machakos office.
We greatly appreciate their collaboration and will continue to partner with the CAJ in creating awareness on their role to the public.
We will also work together in creating strategies to improve access to information to wananchi including domesticating a Machakos county access to information Act and many more.
To further support the CAJ, we will work together in partnership, to set up an office of the CAJ in Machakos county. This will go a long way in bringing services closer to the people as envisioned in devolution.
My government remains committed to work with all stakeholders, both public and private to serve our people in the best way possible. Service to the people.
