MACHAKOS INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER
Machakos International Convention center, the only one in Kenya outside Nairobi and second to KICC. A great stride for Machakos County. The facility can host up to 800 persons and is a Machakos county Government project. The convention center has some of the best international features like a huge conference room and even ball rooms and offices, AC regulators too amongst other features like a restaurant. It is constructed using modern technology and even its design is modern.
The convention center was opened by his Excellency the president Uhuru Kenyatta who was also accompanied by Raila Odinga , Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana , Charity Ngilu , Kalonzo Musyoka many other government official.
The center is set to boost tourism in the county and also help in offering international standard conferencing facilities in the fast developing Machakos county.
It’s located within the Machakos people park and it has given the park a very nice and beautiful view.
