KATANGI – KINYAATA – KITHIMANI ROAD
Ongoing murraming and grading of the 44KM stretch from Katangi to Kithimani. The road has improved much and residents are happy that the road is now easily passable under any weather.
The road is joining Katangi, Ikombe and Kithimani wards.
The Governor’s desire to empower people of these wards more so they can engage in income generating activities resulted in grading of this 44 km link road, culvert installation and drift construction that has seen the residents shift from subsistence farming to commercial farming as transportation costs have significantly reduced. Various large scale economic engagements have sprouted up due to this venture.
