I had the honor of inaugurating the South Eastern Kenya National Agricultural Show held in Machakos.
This is a significant milestone for agriculture and food security in our region. Running on the theme ‘Innovation and Technology in Agriculture and Trade,’ this event aligns with my vision of transforming the agribusiness sector.
The show highlighted some of the latest agricultural trends and innovations that are geared towards increased productivity and income generation. I therefore urge farmers to embrace these advancements.
With over 100 exhibitors at the show, several agricultural advances were highlighted including initiatives such as input subsidies, mechanization, and improved market infrastructure.
Machakos County extends a warm welcome to investors willing to explore opportunities that will foster mutually beneficial gains in the region.
