I am pleased to announce our partnership with Fida Kenya to enhance the capacities of women leaders in our county for effective and gender-responsive leadership. Today I received a courtesy call from Fida Kenya, including the Vice Chairperson Christine Kungu, Board Member Claris Ogangah, and other members of the FIDA secretariat.
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen our collaboration and empower women leaders in our community. Through this partnership, we aim to create an inclusive society where women’s voices are heard, and they actively participate in decision-making processes. I am grateful for Fida Kenya’s support as we work together to empower women and drive the development and progress of machakos county.
