Salutations to the residents of Machakos County.

Welcome to Machakos County, the place to be.

It is my belief that with the right leadership, Machakos County will prosper.  Under the clarion call of my campaign, Chakula Mezani, Pesa Mfukoni, my vision for the people of Machakos  is anchored in my Three Pillar Promise. These pillars are governed on the principles of Integrity, Transparency, Efficiency and Civic Engagement.

With effective stewardship of resources generated in the County, both direct and indirect jobs will be created to support the economy and the livelihoods of Machakos residents. The aforementioned pillars include Food Security, Socio-economic Empowerment, and Infrastructure.

Food Security will be attained through investment in modern farming practices, and value addition for our agricultural produce. Machakos County bears great potential in Mango, Coffee, Cereals, Milk, and Honey productions. With direct investment into these industries, Machakos County stands a chance on the global platform as far as Value addition is concerned.

Socio-economic empowerment in Health, Education, and Empowerment programs for the Youth, Women groups and Community-Based Organizations will be achieved by addressing the needs of the different categories of citizens. Small and Medium Enterprises in sectors such as Agriculture, Trade (formal & informal), Tourism, and Culture will be supported through  attraction of investors, sourcing of markets, availing affordable credit and ensuring business-friendly County rates.

On Infrastructure, my governments will endeavor to identify and prioritize infrastructure projects to open and interconnect the county for economic prosperity. My government will ensure that services are brought as close to citizens as possible through construction of sub-county offices to co-ordinate all devolved services at a level convenient to mwananchi.

I humbly urge all the residents of Machakos to accord me the opportunity to serve you. Through the power of God and your support we shall make it.
