Foreign investors have expressed confidence in the leadership of Machakos County.
My Executive members;Dr Joel Nzomo(CECM,Agriculture and Food Security),Mr Albert Mulwa(CO Livestock and Fisheries) and Mr Benedict Ngumbau(CO Cooperative Development) today met investors from the Korea Association of Machinery and Industry (KOAM).
The investors expressed intention to partner with the county government in investments,smart farming and technology.
Through the Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) program,the investors will roll out pilot projects related to Agricultural machinery and smart farm.
We believe that the introduction of new technologies along with the modernization of Kenyan agriculture and the application of smart and digital solutions to address climate change will be vital driving forces towards improvement of our agricultural productivity and sustainability in the spirit of ‘Chakula Mezani, Pesa Mfukoni’philosophy.
