I have today held a development implementation meeting between the Machakos County Assembly Members and the Executive Committee.
The meeting brought together all members of the Machakos County Assembly, members of my Cabinet, Chief Officers and Senior County Officials.
The meeting realigned projects to needs on the ground and discussed areas that need to be improved so that services can be rendered efficiently because Machakos is the place to be.
I am very pleased by the worthy spirit of pulling together to ensure that our people receive the best services.
It is vital that leaders work to deliver development projects and services with the aim of improving the quality of life of their people. It is critical that we roll back poverty through politics of development and not the usual politics of poverty practiced by other leaders.
