I was happy to receive a delegation from Komarock Parish led by Sr. Donatus and accompanied by Machakos County Woman Rep. Hon. Joyce Kamene.
The sisters shared their elaborate plan in curbing alcohol and drug abuse after conducting a survey on drug addiction in Machakos County. Together with the office of the Woman rep, my administration will work with them in the construction of a rehabilitation center in the area.
We will rehabilitate a borehole, provide water tanks, upgrade Matuu ma Mwiitu and Shrine road as well as provide an electricity transformer to help in curbing insecurity in the area. I appreciate all the efforts that our women leaders are undertaking to save the boy child from harmful habits that are a threat to society.
