I am delighted to announce that a consensus has finally been reached between Machakos and our neighbors, Kitui on the sharing of water from the Masinga Dam through a Memorandum of Understanding midwifed by Tana Athi Water Works.
The 5-year agreement will see the National Government agency operate the Masinga-Kitui water supply and sanitation project and provide two bulk meters for the two counties.
This will not only improve reliability in water supply for our people but will also improve the commercial viability of Water Service Providers in the two counties.
